Milano Beauty Week is an event organised by Cosmetica Italia (member of Federchimica, the Italian Federation of the chemical industry), in partnership with Cosmoprof and Esxence.

This cultural project aims to promote the social, scientific and economic value of cosmetics as well as to highlight the peculiarity of the Italian cosmetic supply chain - from multinationals to small/medium production companies, including packaging, raw materials and machinery manufacturers.

Milano Beauty Week intends to affirm cosmetics as essential products for everyone's well-being and self-esteem in every stage of life, and to increase awareness about the importance of these products, essential allies related to daily and fundamental gestures for hygiene, well-being, prevention and protection.

Milano Beauty Week's program includes a variety of activities and experiences that will liven up not only the main venues, but also the streets, squares, commercial and cultural spaces of Lombard capital.

The events are organised according to the main topics of the event, innovation, sustainability, inclusion and emotion.

Entrepreneurs, field workers and experts, beauty enthusiasts, hair and beauty professionals, citizens and visitors are the protagonists of a Week devoted to the culture of beauty and well-being, an initiative which has become an annual collective recurrence.

Since 1967, Cosmetica Italia is the voice of the Italian cosmetics industry and the related supply chain. It can count over 640 companies among its ranks - from multinationals to small/medium production and distribution companies, passing through packaging, raw materials and machinery manufacturers, located throughout the Country - for a total of 36K direct workers. The overall workers of the entire cosmetics supply chain become 400K, if we consider those belonging to the beauty, hair-dressing, perfumery, pharmacy, herbalist shop and direct sales sectors. The associative structure amounts to 90% of the field's turnover: an excellency from a financial and occupational standpoint. Cosmetica Italia is one of the institutional partners of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof: this partnership has been driving Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna - the greatest cosmetics trade fair event worldwide - and all its international spin-offs for over 50 years.

Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is the most important meeting point in the world for beauty professionals, established in 1967 and held in Bologna, Italy. It is organized by BolognaFiere Cosmoprof, as part of BolognaFiere Group. For the 2023 edition, Cosmoprof registered more than 250.000 attendees from 153 countries in the world and 2,984 exhibitors from 64 countries.
